Day 27: Back in YC, sixteen years later

Hey everyone, I did YC in 2010 and I'm back in the current batch. Here's what it takes to build a billion dollar company this time around. We have 27 days left for Demo Day and the pressure is on. We have to grow to 10% week over week. We currently have 69 patients in the platform and it's $92,000 in revenue. We had 62 at the beginning of the week, so we need to have 12 more by the beginning of next week. In 2010, post-demo day, my company was doing $17,000 a month, and this company, in just three weeks, has already far eclipsed that, so you can see how much faster we have to grow this time around. Today we've been working on our GitHub issues integration. We've been five engineering this thing like crazy. In six weeks we've written 600,000 lines of code and we have four engineers and we are like stepping on each other's toes in here. So what we did is we built this system with the release.com. It automatically spins up a new version of the app and it uses this ephemeral thing to basically do end-to-end testing so that way we can see if the PR actually landed. And the goal is We put something into GitHub issues and an agent just figures it out and fixes it. I'm going to talk a little bit more but I've got to go because my wife is really upset with me right now so I'm going to finish this in the car. I need five more customers by the end of the week and time is ticking so how are we going to do it since we don't do paid marketing? It's organic only. Well I have 245 people that are stuck in a text conversation with my agent And agents are hard. They say the wrong thing sometimes. So what we're gonna do is run a process tonight with all those conversations and see who we can unstick and see if we can get five new patients by the end of the week. So stick with me.
